Among our projects for 2025, one that excites us greatly is the renovation of the old Son Ganxo house and the creation of an olive oil press on the estate, creating a space where guests can learn about the process and taste our olive oil.
Additionally, there will be the full renovation of the Hotel Don Juan, transforming it into a 4-star hotel on the beachfront, and the redesign of the Hotel Playa de Palma Palace to give it a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere, providing more comfort for our guests.
Hipotels will also be carrying out renovations in other properties to improve the facilities, such as the complete facade renovation of the Hotel Mediterráneo to provide better thermal insulation.
With great enthusiasm, the chain is committed to transforming the Don Juan Hotel into a modern and sustainable establishment, aiming to adapt it to current times while always prioritising the comfort of our guests. This hotel, located on the seafront, will be a welcoming and exclusive space, with décor designed by the renowned Italian designers Il Mio Design, who will give it a fresh, warm, and Mediterranean vibe.
It has become the most modern establishment in the company following the comprehensive renovation we have carried out.
At Hipotels, we knew that the hotel needed to be positioned as a leader in energy efficiency and innovation. For this reason, a complete overhaul has been done to meet environmental, sustainability, circularity, and decarbonization demands.
Additionally, we continue to invest in creating and maintaining Mediterranean or native gardens in the area.
Hotel Flamenco has also focused on its winter season activities, prioritizing space by expanding the room and common areas to ensure guests are comfortable indoors.
At Hipotels, we renovate our hotels every year, and this time it was La Geria’s turn, where we’ve completed a second phase of renovation.
La Geria is a hotel located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, Lanzarote. The renovation works have modernized the spacious rooms, designed a new spa, and updated the kitchen, now featuring modern refrigeration systems that contribute to energy savings.
This family-friendly and central hotel stands out for its extensive gardens, very much in the island’s style, and offers an ideal setting for relaxation and enjoyment for its guests.
The hotel has been redecorated, and its restaurant completely transformed into a new concept: the Vermutería. This cozy space has become a beloved meeting point where guests and locals enjoy a warm, social atmosphere.
Committed to sustainability and environmental protection, the hotel has modernized its facilities, improving electrical and climate control systems, and implementing a centralized refrigeration system cooled by water. This has optimized energy consumption and reduced the use of refrigerant gases.
Additionally, numerous photovoltaic solar panels have been installed on the roof, making use of the hotel’s surface to generate energy and reduce its carbon footprint.
